About xCures
xCures has built a data and technology platform that enables retrieval, aggregation, organization, normalization, and structuring of medical records from consented patients. xCures uses this technology to generate real-time, regulatory-grade, clinical data, which is then de-identified and licensed to BioPharma. xCures also licenses its own software to other organizations who wish to generate their own fully longitudinal real-world data from their consented patients. xCures is founded by serial entrepreneurs and led by a management team with more than 10 successful combined exits. About the role
We’re looking for someone to help build awareness and commercialize our products and services among stakeholders at Top 50 BioPharma companies. This role will be integral to generating revenue from licensing our data assets. You are highly organized and disciplined, and eager to learn from a group of successful sales and commercial professionals. You are energized by the prospect of building relationships that will allow cutting-edge technology to thrive. You like engaging with clients and assessing their unmet needs, are able to be prepared for thoughtful interactions and nimble enough to think on your feet by understanding client needs and proposing solutions based on the xCures commercial offerings.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales of xCures Data Products and Solutions to life science partners through an account-based, consultative sales approach
- Execute against sales plans and corporate goals, including contact activities, meeting generation, and commercial pull-through resulting in sales of xCures Data Products and Solutions
- Conduct outbound calls and emails, schedule meetings, and deliver introductory presentations to customer target audience
- Use CRM software to maintain and update interaction information with prospects
- Understand and communicate the value of xCures’ products and services
- Participate in all required training and sales meetings
- Plan and organize to meet call targets and meeting goals from assigned accounts, including generation of account plans
- Make sales presentations including individual meetings via the phone and video conference
Requirements
- Experience
- 5+ years of relevant sales or customer engagement experience in real-world data, real-world evidence, CRO, or Life Sciences consulting (e.g., market access, HEOR, RWD/RWE)
- Experience selling to budget holders at Top 50 BioPharma companies
- Skills, competencies, and capabilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Comfort with technical and medical information and communications
- Ability to effectively use software, including CRM, presentation, and communications tools and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and grow relationships with existing accounts in the Pharma/Life Sciences industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to develop and close large complex deals
- Highly skilled at identifying appropriate executive targets and key decision makers and building relationships across the enterprise within Pharma/Life Sciences accounts
- Demonstrated ability to aggressively prospect new opportunities in an account to address Pharma/Life Sciences commercialization and research and development business needs
Other Plusses
- Undergraduate degree in a health sciences and/or technical field
- Graduate degree(s) in a relevant subject area
- Experience with real-world data (e.g. EMR, Claims)
- Customer management experience using a CRM system like Hubspot or Salesforce
- Previous professional experience in the healthcare domain
- Strong technical skill sets
