xCures – Clinical Information Extraction

xCures® operates an AI-assisted healthcare data platform that extracts and structures clinical information from medical records gathered across multiple sources.

Launched in 2018, xCures’ mission is to find and organize all healthcare data and improve healthcare with comprehensive access to clinical insights.

In its early days, the company utilized AI to address a major challenge in healthcare: managing and navigating the complexities of large-scale cancer patient data and fragmented access to medical records.

In 2021, the first AI-assisted portals were launched – a pivotal advancement in the xCures story. A year later and less than 30 days after the 21st Century Cures Act forced healthcare organizations to provide rapid access to health records in a digital format, the xCures platform was ready as a turnkey solution.

At the end of 2023, xCures expanded to include all conditions. The platform became available as Software as a Service for healthcare organizations, enabling fast access to clinical information. 

In 2025, the accelerated adoption of AI has broadened the use and impact of the platform, providing significant new capabilities for overall healthcare delivery.
